Matthew Lott is a Brooklyn-based Costume and Set Designer for Theatre, Opera, and Dance. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Matthew came to New York after finishing his MA in Theatre from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Once here, he pursued his MFA at NYU Tisch Design for Stage and Film which he finished May of 2018.
New York credits include the world premiere Lucy Thurber play A Daughter and Some Sons; Director Lisa Rothe, An Ideal Husband; Director Janet Zarish, Pro-ceed / Pro-gress; Choreographer Pamela Pietro, Opera Now; Director Sam Helfrich. Favorite productions include, Mrs. Warren's Profession, Big Maggie, and Red Hamlet.
